Catherine Swenson , Au.D.
Dr. Cathy Swenson has been practicing audiology since the mid-1980s, taking some time off while moving frequently with her military spouse and raising her two daughters. She earned a Doctorate in Audiology in 2008 from Salus University, a Masters degree in Audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985, and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Toledo in 1984. Cathy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA) and holds The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and is licensed to practice Audiology in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Swenson gained experience working with a wide variety of patient populations over the years as an audiologist in medical, private practice, educational, and rehabilitative settings in Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, and Central PA. She was excited to join the AOP Camp Hill Team in May 2014 to gain experience in the rehabilitation of patients with cochlear implants and bone-anchored devices.
