Dr. Sara Barron, Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. Barron has been a licensed audiologist since 1984, with some time taken off to raise her three children.  She earned a Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University, a Masters in Audiology from Columbia University, and a Bachelors in Speech Pathology from New York University.  She was very excited to join AOP in 2010.

She particularly enjoys getting to know her patients and making sure to meet each of their own unique communication needs.

She has kept up with rapid advances in digital hearing instruments over the years, and has special expertise in fitting them.  She has also developed special expertise in cochlear implants.  She understands how hearing loss can isolate people from those around them, and her passion is helping people regain those connections.  Dr. Barron has extensive experience working with both children and adults.

She lives in Harrisburg, with her husband Todd.
